We are an independent tribunal set up to consider parents' appeals against the decisions of Local Education Authorities (LEAs) about children's special educational needs, where parents who live in Wales cannot reach agreement with the LEA.

We also consider parents' claims of disability discrimination in relation to schools in Wales.
